Since 2004, 24
year old Londoner Sam Hallam has been serving
life imprisonment for a murder he did not
commit.
The
only evidence against him at his 2005
trial consisted of contradictory statements
placing him at the murder scene. This evidence
was riddled with inconsistencies and anomalies. This
website outlines the case supporting Sam
Hallam's innocence of the murder of
Essayas Kassahun.
Sam's
conviction was quashed by the Court of Appeal on
17 May 2012 but other wrongly convicted
individuals still wait for justice including:
Colin Norris
Eddie Gilfoyle
