The SAM HALLAM campaign

In 2006, Sam Hallam's family and supporters met with individuals who played leading roles in the campaigns to free the Birmingham Six, Guilford Four, Judith Ward, Tottenham Three and the Bridgewater Four as well as campaigns on behalf of less well-known miscarriage of justice victims. Following the dismissal of his appeal in March 2007, his family, friends and supporters decided to launch a public campaign to call for Sam Hallam's release and exoneration. The campaign's objectives include:

  • Seeking out new evidence in the case and calling for witnesses to come forward with a view to preparing a formal submission to the Criminal Cases Review Commission.

  • Publicising the facts of Sam Hallam's case on as wide a basis as possible.

  • Providing practical and moral support to Sam Hallam and his family during his wrongful imprisonment.

The campaign has no aims or agenda beyond securing the release and exoneration of this innocent young man and is not associated with any political organisation or grouping. The SAM HALLAM campaign is currently establishing a contact postal address and telephone number. In the meantime, email the campaign here
